Samsung, South Korean chaebol (conglomerate), has stated that it will focus on a core strategy of creating a platform and eco–system around the internet of things, artificial intelligence, and services. The company has also said it will optimize its product portfolio and strengthen its focus on high value–added products. Additionally, Samsung plans to expand its presence in emerging markets and other strategic priorities.
